But here's something many people don't realise...

When we began creating our serum, we knew one thing from the very beginning.

We didn't want to rely on just one "hero" ingredient.

We wanted to build a formula where every peptide complemented the others, each bringing something unique to the overall performance of the serum.

Why We Chose Four Peptides Instead of One

There are hundreds of peptides used throughout skincare today.

Rather than asking ourselves,

"Which peptide is the best?"

we asked a different question...

"Which peptides work beautifully together?"

That question shaped everything that followed.

1. Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu)

The peptide that inspired Copper Skin Collective.

If you've read our story, you'll already know that GHK-Cu is where everything began.

It was the ingredient that sparked our curiosity and ultimately inspired the creation of Copper Skin Collective.

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide that's already found within the human body.

As we age, our natural levels gradually decline, which is one of the reasons researchers have become increasingly interested in its role in supporting healthy-looking skin.

We loved the science.

We loved the research.

But most of all, we loved the idea of building our entire formulation around an ingredient that already exists naturally within us.

That's why we chose 1% Copper Tripeptide-1 as the foundation of our serum.

2. Matrixyl® 3000

Supporting smoother, firmer-looking skin.

Once GHK-Cu became the heart of our formula, we began looking for ingredients that would complement it.

Matrixyl® 3000 quickly stood out.

This well-known peptide complex is widely recognised for helping improve the appearance of fine lines while supporting smoother, firmer-looking skin over time.

Rather than replacing GHK-Cu, it works alongside it.

Together, they create a stronger foundation than either ingredient could provide on its own.

3. Argireline®

Often referred to as "Botox in a bottle."

Argireline® has become one of the most recognised peptides in modern skincare.

You may have heard it nicknamed "Botox in a bottle."

While it doesn't work like injectable treatments, it's commonly used to help soften the appearance of expression lines, particularly around the forehead and eye area.

We included Argireline® because we wanted our formula to address one of the most common concerns people have as their skin matures—visible expression lines.

It was another important piece of the puzzle.

4. Heptapeptide-8

The finishing touch.

Our fourth peptide may not be as well known, but we believe it's an incredibly valuable addition to the formula.

Heptapeptide-8 helps support healthier-looking skin while complementing the work of the other peptides.

Instead of competing with the rest of the formula, it works quietly in the background, contributing to the overall performance of the serum.
